On the 9th of February 2016, Livecom was taken over by Artilium. This takeover enables Livecom to invest more in the further development of our customer contact software solutions, and to realize further professionalization. Livecom will thus be able to implement new solutions and further product improvements so that we can optimally support our customers in their needs in the area of customer contact.
Livecom became the first provider in 2003 for commercial chat in the Netherlands, and from that position, Livecom has broadened their portfolio in the years thereafter toward other customer contact channels like proactive chat, e-mail, knowledge bank (‘self-service’), telephony (via Comsys) and WhatsApp. It is now time to take the next step, and the takeover by Artilium offers Livecom the capability of doing that.
Artilium is an international software company and is listed on the AIM exchange of the London Stock Exchange. Artilium delivers solutions for (tele)communications, including for various mobile telecom operators. With their own cloud-based software platform, Artilium offers more than 50 European telecom companies. From the goal of securing a position in the enterprise market, Artilium recently took over Comsys, located in the Netherlands and Indonesia, an established provider of a range of cloud-based telecom solutions for companies and telecom operators as well as various call centre solutions.
Since 2015, Livecom and Comsys have had a partnership, in which the solutions of both companies are integrated to make a unique, full-scope customer contact platform available. A number of customers are already taking advantage of this integration. This collaboration and integration of solutions will now be intensified.
