Livecom launches online identification with Digid and Irma through partnership with Verder Helpen
Nijmegen/Rotterdam The Netherlands, December 20 2022, Livecom and Verder Helpen are excited to announce the prelaunch of secure online identification with DigiD and Irma for web-chat. With this new solution, Livecom Contact Center customers can easily and securely verify the identity of their customers (Know Your Customer), making it possible to conduct important business and communication online via web-chat. This is particularly useful in situations where the contact center agent requires secure identification for instance in order to maintain public health, safety, large orders, insurances, legal & notary items, etc.
Livecom realized this feature in close cooperation with a Dutch municipality and Verder Helpen as a pilot for online identification during digital communication with the Livecom Contact Center solution for example using chat. It is designed to protect the privacy of citizens and ensure that their personal information is handled in a secure and compliant manner. The online identification system is easy to use. Furthermore it is prepared to seamlessly integrate into other channels like bots and Messaging (WhatsApp, Facebook messaging, etc.).
